Our customers seek out a trusted window tint film package to help shield their vehicle's interior from infrared heat build up and direct exposure to harmful UV rays. But as they protect your interior, window tinting will also enhance your vehicle’s aesthetic appeal, delivering the most outstanding results.

Grizzly Clean specializes in providing solutions tailored to all types of vehicles and driving lifestyles, making window tinting a smart upgrade for your vehicle. Adding window tint film is a technical advancement that delivers extremely practical benefits for all drivers. Our carbon window tint film effectively rejects infrared heat in notable ways, helping to maintain a cooler interior temperature by reducing how much heat enters the vehicle altogether. With the darkness level you select, window tinting is great at stopping harmful UV rays from entering your vehicle’s interior as well. This is an increase in safety for you and your passengers, stopping direct exposure to the sun.

Tinting is legal in the state of Iowa, but there are some limitations and rules that must be followed. Vehicles must adhere to specific window tint darkness limits based on the size and type of the vehicle. These limits are measured using Visible Light Transmission (VLT), which is the percentage of light that can pass through your tinted windows.

For smaller vehicles, the front side windows must allow more than 70% of light in, while there are no specific restrictions for rear side and back windows. For larger vehicles, such as SUVs or vans, the front side windows must also have at least 70% VLT, but the rear windows have more lenient rules, allowing for darker tinting. We want to make sure you are in compliance with these standards, as they are crucial to avoid fines and ensure safe driving visibility.

Iowa also regulates the reflectiveness of window tint film to minimize glare and ensure safety for all drivers. More reflective window tinting can create a mirrored effect, which is not permissible beyond a certain amount. While the state of Iowa does not specify exactly what level of reflectiveness is allowed, we do know that excessive reflectiveness is not allowed. At Grizzly Clean, we also offer non-reflective tinting that meets Iowa's regulations while still delivering superior performance and aesthetics.
